The Ukrainian national football team is starting the decisive stage of qualification for Euro 2024. To qualify for the tournament, the Ukrainian team must overcome two opponents, the first of whom is already known - the match between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ukraine.

The match between Ukraine and Bosnia and Herzegovina will take place simultaneously with another semi-final match of the Euro 2024 play-offs, in which Israel and Iceland will meet. The winners of these two matches will play the decisive match for the European Championship.

The format of the play-offs for Euro 2024 consists of one match. 

Therefore, Bosnia and Herzegovina - Ukraine, football between the teams will end with the determination of the participant of the final.

This is not the first time that Ukraine and Bosnia and Herzegovina will meet each other in the qualifying rounds of international tournaments. In 2021, these teams played two matches in the qualifying group for the 2022 World Cup - a 1-1 draw was recorded in Lviv, but the Blue and Yellows beat their opponent away.

Before the match between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ukraine, the Blue and Yellows decided on their application. One of the team's leaders, midfielder Viktor Tsygankov, was not included in the squad as he was injured.

Bosnia and Herzegovina - Ukraine (football): where to watch

Bosnia and Herzegovina - Ukraine will take place on Thursday, 21 March, in Zenica, at the Bilino Pole arena. The game starts at 21:45 Kyiv time.

The match between Israel and Iceland will take place on Thursday evening in Budapest, Hungary.
