Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has revealed that Ukraine’s military intelligence has obtained evidence of Russian preparations for new military operations on European territory, The Gaze reports.

This alarming disclosure was based on a report presented by the Head of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov.

According to President Zelenskyy, Ukrainian intelligence is closely monitoring the internal situation within Russia, including the state of its defense industry.

“We clearly see the main pressure points of the aggressor state and will deliver targeted strikes to protect our country, our people, and to significantly reduce Russia’s capacity for future aggression,” the President stated.

He also noted a continuing intellectual decline within the Russian leadership and emphasized that Ukraine possesses confirmed intelligence about Russian intentions to expand military actions beyond Ukraine.

“We have documented Russia’s plans to launch new military operations in Europe. This is a direct threat not only to Ukraine but to all European nations,” Zelenskyy said.

The President further highlighted the impact of international sanctions on Russia’s economy, describing the visible economic strain as proof of the effectiveness of the current international pressure strategy. “Sanctions are working, and it is critical to maintain and strengthen them,” he added.

Zelenskyy affirmed that Ukraine would share the intelligence findings with its partners and allies. “We are preparing joint decisions for collective defense, particularly with the United Kingdom and the European Union,” he noted.

The Ukrainian leader expressed gratitude to all global partners helping Ukraine defend lives and resist aggression.
