‘Executed Generation’ - 125 Ukrainian Artists Killed by Russia

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the war has claimed 125 Ukrainian artists.

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine reports.

‘These people have made a great contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture and could have continued their work, but their lives were prematurely cut short by Russia,’ the statement said.   

On the eve of the Day of the Artist of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine is launching a series of publications entitled ‘Executed Generation’. Its purpose is to tell about Ukrainian artists who died because of the full-scale Russian invasion, as well as to testify to the genocide of Ukrainian culture committed by Russia.
