Finland Allocates 25th Military Aid Package for Ukraine Worth €118 Million
Finland has allocated the 25th military aid package for Ukraine, with an estimated value of 118 million euro.
This was reported on the website of the Finnish Ministry of Defence.
On 13 September, Finnish President Alexander Stubb approved the government's proposal for the 25th military aid package for Ukraine.
The replacement of the weapons included in the package will cost Helsinki about 118 million euro. The total value of the military assistance provided to Ukraine with this package has reached 2.3 billion euro.
‘The situation in Ukraine remains difficult. Finland, as promised, will continue to provide assistance. We are sending a signal to other partner countries that we cannot stop,’ commented Finnish Defence Minister Antti Häkkänen.
As in previous cases, for security reasons, Finland does not disclose any details about the contents of the package and the estimated delivery time.
It is noted that the package was compiled taking into account Ukraine's requests and the resources available to the Finnish army.
Finland is also collecting donations for energy equipment to help Ukraine get through the winter.
