First-Ever Technological Sports Championship Takes Place in Ukraine

Ukraine hosted the world's first Technological Sports Championship, combining competitions involving FPV drones, robots, and cyber technologies.
The Gaze reports on this, referring to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
“A huge community of people has gathered here, united by a common goal — the victory of Ukraine and the protection of our independence,” said Minister of Youth and Sports Matviy Bidnyi.
Engineers, pilots, and developers from all regions of the country competed for victory and recognition. It is reported that this fall, Ukraine will present its champions on the international stage, demonstrating its leadership in technological sports and innovation to the world.
In three years, the Ukrainian technology industry has grown to more than 700 companies that create drones, robotic systems, and modern means of radio-electronic warfare. Ukrainian developers are already setting global trends, becoming an example of innovation and development, and their ideas inspire colleagues in other countries.
“The championship is unique in that it combines competitions on land, in the air, on water, and in cyberspace. Ukraine was the first country in the world to officially recognize technological sports as a discipline that recreates real-life scenarios for the use of modern technologies,” the statement said.
As The Gaze previously informed, the Ukrainian technology cluster Brave1 has already accepted 45 foreign applications for weapons testing as part of the Test in Ukraine initiative
