From Occupation to Safety: 29 Ukrainian Children Rescued

Ukraine continues to return its children from temporarily occupied territories: as part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, a large group of minors has been rescued and is now safe and receiving the necessary assistance.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, on Telegram.
According to Yermak, during the occupation, these children were subjected to harassment, coercion, and the influence of Russian propaganda, but are now safe and receiving the necessary support in Ukraine.
Among those rescued are sisters who were being taken to a boarding school after their mother's death, children who were forced to sing the Russian anthem and participate in propaganda events. This group of children also includes a teenager with health problems who was registered for military service, and whose mother was humiliated for refusing to send her children to militarized events.
Nevertheless, they are now all restoring their documents, undergoing psychological rehabilitation, and receiving assistance for a new life of freedom.
The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine thanked Save Ukraine and all partners for their assistance in rescuing children who found themselves in the occupied territories.
“Thank you to Save Ukraine and all partners for helping to rescue these children. We are fulfilling the President's task of bringing all children back,” he wrote.
Mykola Kuleba, Head of the Save Ukraine charity, also reported that last week, the Save Ukraine team managed to rescue 29 Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories as part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative.
It is reported that in total, more than 800 children have already been given a chance for a new life in a free Ukraine.
“We sincerely thank our partners We Are All Ukrainians, the Humanity Charitable Foundation, and the Joint Center for the Coordination of the Search and Release of Prisoners of War and Illegally Detained Persons — together we are not just saving children. We are giving them back their childhood, peace, and hope,” Kuleba said.
The Gaze informed earlier that the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (HUR) has published information about seven individuals and three organizations involved in the militarization of Ukrainian children in temporarily occupied territories, as well as in the illegal placement of these children in Russian families.
