G20 Foreign Ministers Meet in South Africa Without US

The G20 foreign ministers are meeting on 20-21 February in South Africa, but the US will not be present, Deutsche Welle reports.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is boycotting the meeting because of South Africa's ‘anti-American’ policies.
The German Foreign Ministry said that its head, Annalena Baerbock, would also be absent.
The meeting is expected to focus on the situation in the Middle East and Ukraine, although representatives of the Global South, including Brazil, India and South Africa, hope to discuss what they see as much-needed reforms of international institutions, combating climate change and ensuring more equitable economic development.
