In Pyongyang, Kim Jong Un awarded North Korean soldiers and commanders who participated in battles in the Kursk region on the side of Russia.

The Gaze reports on it, referring to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA)

According to the state agency KCNA, a solemn ceremony was held in Pyongyang with the participation of dictator Kim Jong Un. He personally presented awards to soldiers and commanders of the DPRK army who participated in the battles in the Kursk region on the side of the Russian invaders.

In addition, Kim met with the families of the fallen soldiers, trying to emphasize the “heroic contribution” of the army.

Kim Jong Un received a report on the activities of DPRK military units abroad and highly praised their efforts, which allegedly led to victory in the Kursk region of Russia.

He stressed the importance of the tasks assigned to the units and conveyed his congratulations to the commanders and soldiers who allegedly carried them out with heroism and dedication.

At the ceremony, Kim Jong Un described the army as heroic and the strongest in the world, continuing to carry out important tasks.

"Our army is heroic. Because it is made up of the sons and daughters of a heroic people. Our army has fully demonstrated its distinctive feature. This result has cemented its reputation and popularity as the strongest army in the world and given everyone a clear idea. Now our army is doing its necessary work. And it will continue to do so," said the North Korean leader.

A monument with photographs of 101 soldiers was installed on stage during the ceremony. At the same time, the exact losses of North Korean units in battles on Russian territory remain unknown.

As The Gaze informed earlier, thousands of North Korean laborers are working under brutal, exploitative conditions in Russia to fill labor shortages deepened by the Russian-Ukrainian war.
