At a meeting on Wednesday, 9 July, the Lithuanian government decided to allocate one million euros to the EU4Reconstruction programme for Ukraine, which is funded by the European Commission.

The programme, in which Denmark, Germany and France are participating alongside Lithuania, covers five areas: supporting the strengthening of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, empowering local authorities, reforming the State Agency for Infrastructure Reconstruction and Development, raising construction standards and strengthening civil society engagement.
The programme is designed to run from 2025 to 2027. The total budget for the programme is €37.5 million.
The official signing ceremony for the programme will take place on Thursday in Rome during the Ukraine Recovery Conference.
The conference will take place on 10 and 11 July. In particular, it will be attended by an American delegation together with the US President's Special Envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg.
The conference will also be attended by European Council President António Costa, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos.
