Massive Russian Attacks on Kyiv, Odesa, and Sumy Leave Casualties and Widespread Damage

In the early hours of June 10, a coordinated assault of Russian missiles and drones struck Kyiv, Odesa, and Sumy, leaving a trail of devastation and casualties, The Gaze reports.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to the post of Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.
The barrage, part of an ongoing offensive against Ukraine, resulted in at least two fatalities, numerous injuries, and significant damage to vital infrastructure.
Kyiv was rocked by a series of explosions as air defense systems engaged incoming threats. Four people were reported injured, including a woman in the Shevchenkivskyi district, who required medical attention for burns after a fire broke out from a burning vehicle.
Civilian infrastructure was hit. As a result of the shelling, 19 fires broke out, 4 of which are still being extinguished.
Emergency services and firefighters quickly responded, and medics treated the injured on-site.
Meanwhile, in Odesa, the southern port city, the attack left two men dead and at least eight others wounded. Among the damaged structures, a maternity hospital was severely hit. Thankfully, no casualties occurred inside the facility as patients and staff were evacuated beforehand.
The ongoing attack also saw an administrative building for emergency medical services destroyed, along with several ambulances.
In Sumy, located in northeastern Ukraine, a Russian missile strike took the life of a 17-year-old boy, pushing the death toll from this attack to six.
The assault also injured 28 others, including three children. The attack ignited two vehicles, damaged a medical facility, and shattered the windows of multiple residential buildings.
