New Ukrainian Audio Guide Now Available in Hungary

In Hungary, a Ukrainian-language audio guide was presented at the Mihály Munkácsy Art Museum in the city of Békéscsaba, The Gaze informs, citing the Embassy of Ukraine in Hungary on Facebook.
In early August 2025, during a working trip to Bekeshchaba, Ambassador of Ukraine to Hungary Fedir Shandor and Consul in Nyiregyhaza Vladyslav Mushka visited the Mihaly Munkácsy Art Museum, where they were presented with a Ukrainian-language audio guide.
This is the third Ukrainian-language audio guide opened in Hungary with the support of the Ukrainian Embassy.
“Ukrainian diplomatic missions in Hungary promote the opening of Ukrainian-language audio guides in the host country so that our compatriots can learn more about the international cultural heritage in their native language,” the statement reads.
During the presentation, the museum's director, Dr. Bácsmegi Gábor, emphasized that he and his team are actively working to constantly replenish the museum's collections of archaeological, natural history, paleontology, historical, ethnographic, and artistic exhibits. These unique materials are expected to arouse the interest of Ukrainian visitors and help them to get to know the culture of the region better.
“Audio Guides in Ukrainian” is an initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that provides Ukrainian-language audio guides in the world's leading museums. The project aims to support the Ukrainian language abroad and promote cultural exchange between Ukraine and the world.
