Poland Sends Another 5,000 Starlink Terminals to Ukraine

Ukraine has received another 5,000 Starlink terminals from Poland, announced Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation, on his Facebook.
‘Starlinks will help residents of the frontline areas stay in touch: call their families, call emergency services, and read the news. Due to shelling and the destruction of base stations in the de-occupied territories, regular communication is not available,’ - Fedorov commented.
Thanks to the collaboration between the Ministry of Digital Transformation and international partners and donors, Ukraine has received over 50,000 Starlink terminals, with the largest share — 29,500 — coming from Poland.
Earlier, on March 9, Elon Musk stated that Ukraine's front line would 'collapse' without Starlink, sparking concerns that he might influence the Starlink operation in Ukraine.
In response, Poland threatened to terminate its contract with Musk if Starlink were to cease operating for Ukraine. Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski emphasized that Poland is the primary funder of Starlink for Ukraine. Therefore, Poland promised that if Musk follows through on his statement, the Polish government would seek alternative providers.
As The Gaze reported, Poland has handed over to Ukraine its citizen suspected of working for Russia.
