Pope Calls for Dialogue to End War in Ukraine

During Sunday prayers at the Vatican, Pope Leo XIV called for dialogue to end the war in Ukraine.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to FREEDOM.
‘Dear friends, peace is the desire of all peoples and the painful plea of those who suffer from war. We ask the Lord to touch the hearts and inspire the minds of rulers so that they may replace the violence of weapons with the search for dialogue,’ said Pope Leo XIV.
The pontiff's words were yet another testimony of support for Ukrainians and a call to the international community not to forget about the war that continues and takes human lives every day.
Pope Leo XIV has repeatedly condemned Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine and expressed his support for the Ukrainian people.
As The Gaze reported earlier, in his first address as the newly elected leader of the Catholic Church, Pope Leo XIV used his traditional midday blessing to issue a heartfelt plea for peace in Ukraine.
