Putin Holds Consultations with Kim Jong Un Ahead of US Talks

Before meeting with US President Donald Trump in Alaska, Russian leader Vladimir Putin consulted with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to Bloomberg.
During the conversation, Putin once again thanked his Korean co-aggressor for the active participation of his army in the war against Ukraine, in particular in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
In response, Kim Jong-un assured that he was ‘always ready to lend a friendly shoulder to his Russian brothers.’
According to North Korean propagandists, the parties exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
As previously reported, the Russian Federation is experiencing an acute shortage of resources to wage a full-scale war against Ukraine and is forced to ask North Korea for help in manpower and weapons.
As The Gaze reported earlier, Ukraine’s Chief of Defense Intelligence, Lt. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov, has highlighted that, in the modern world, only Ukraine, Russia, and North Korea possess practical experience in conducting full-scale warfare across extended front lines using virtually all available conventional military means.
