Russian Terrorist Attacks on Ukraine: Nearly 900 Air Bombs and Over 300 Attack Drones Launched in One Week, Zaporizhzhia Suffers the Most
Over the past week, the Russian army has carried out more than a thousand terrorist strikes in Ukraine and used almost 900 aircraft bombs, more than 300 Shaheds and more than 40 missiles.
This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
‘In total, this week alone, the Russian army used almost 900 aircraft bombs, more than 300 Shaheds and more than 40 missiles. This Russian terror knows no pause, and it can only be stopped by the unity of the world - unity in support of Ukraine and unity in putting pressure on Russia for the war,’ Zelensky said.
He also said that a Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia on 29 September injured 14 people, two were rescued from the rubble, and damaged residential buildings, one of which had its entrance destroyed. He also said there was damage to the city's infrastructure and railway.
‘Fourteen people were injured in Zaporizhzhia after the Russian strike. The rubble is being cleared all day. We managed to rescue two people from the rubble. The bombs hit ordinary residential buildings, ordinary city facilities.
Today, the Russians also struck with guided bombs in Kharkiv, Donetsk and Sumy regions. In particular, several residential buildings were damaged in Hlukhiv. In the Kharkiv region, flat buildings, energy infrastructure, and medical facilities were damaged.
This is Russia's daily terror. Every day, Russia uses about a hundred guided aerial bombs against Ukraine. And this is a constant reminder to all our partners who can help that we need more long-range weapons for Ukraine, we need more air defence for Ukraine, we need more sanctions against Russia,’ the President of Ukraine said.
