White House Reveals When and in What Form Ramstein Meeting to Take Place

The meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defence in the Ramstein format, which was scheduled for 12 October in Germany, will take place in November. The meeting will be virtual. This was announced at a briefing by White House spokesperson Karin Jean-Pierre.
According to her, US President Joe Biden will discuss the Ramstein meeting with President Zelenskyy over the phone to continue providing the necessary support to Ukraine.
‘The two leaders will also discuss next month's meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group at the Leaders‘ level to continue to provide Ukraine with the support it needs to win this conflict,’ Jean-Pierre said.
‘As part of this effort, in November 2024, President Biden will host a virtual meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group leaders, where leaders will coordinate with international partners to provide additional assistance to Ukraine,’ the White House said.
According to Zelenskyy, during the conversation with Joe Biden, they paid special attention to the upcoming online meeting in the Ramstein format.
‘I informed President Biden about my today's address to the Ukrainian parliament, during which the Victory Plan received strong support from all parliamentary parties and groups. Tomorrow I will present it to our EU partners at a meeting of the Council of Europe,’ Zelenskyy said.
As The Gaze previously reported, US President Joe Biden has postponed a trip to Germany for the Ramstein due to Hurricane Milton, which hit Florida. Biden remained in the United States to ‘oversee preparations for and response to Hurricane Milton’. On 9 October, the press service of the US Ramstein Air Base in Germany announces that the meeting has been postponed.
Zelenskyy believes that this Ramstein meeting will provide an opportunity to better coordinate with all partners to implement the specific content of Ukraine's victory plan.
