The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has announced the world's first open database of foreign components found in Russian and Iranian weapons.

This information is available on the agency's official website.

"The whole democratic and civilized world must unite around non-proliferation of its technologies to aggressors. Only in this way can we maintain peace, security and stability at the global level. It was for this purpose that a database of components was created," the NACP statement reads.

According to the announcement, the database on the "War and Sanctions" portal already includes over 2000 components used in Russian and Iranian weaponry on Ukrainian territory, including various types of UAVs, missiles, electronic warfare systems, and various other types of weaponry.

"Thousands of electronic components that should improve life and serve development, Russia and Iran are turning into weapons for murder. Revealing their path from the manufacturer to the hands of the killers is a large-scale task for any government agency. But this is within the power of thousands of journalists, investigators, customs officers, bankers, consultants and many others who seek justice and peace," emphasized NACP Chairman Oleksandr Novikov.

The database includes the type of weaponry, manufacturer, and all technical specifications of each identified component. Furthermore, the section "Foreign Components in Weapons" is expected to be regularly updated and improved.

It is worth noting that in June 2023, Politico reported, citing the US State Department Sanctions Coordinator Jim O'Brien, that Western exports of crucial microchips and electronics needed by Russia for its genocidal war in Ukraine had returned to the same level observed before the full-scale invasion of Ukrainian territory.

Last month, NACP added the Danish company Rockwool to the list of international sponsors of war. The company's products were used in the repair of ships in the Russian naval fleet, including cruisers, destroyers, nuclear submarines, frigates, landing ships, minesweepers, and reconnaissance ships.

Earlier, The Gaze reported on more than 1,000 foreign components found in Western weapons.
