Many people mistakenly believe that the operating time of a smartphone from a single charge directly depends on the capacity of its battery, while in reality this is influenced by many factors: the processor and its energy efficiency, screen resolution and diagonal, software optimization, etc.
The authoritative portal Tom's Guide has compiled a list of the most autonomous mobile gadgets for today.
The list includes both expensive flagships and budget phones cheaper than USD 300.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate gamer phone, which is more than three hours ahead of its closest competitor, was named the champion of "autonomy". With continuous use, the battery lasts a total of 18 hours and 32 minutes. The authors noted that this is the best battery life that they have met in principle.
As for the charging speed, with 65W fast charging, it charges from 0% to 100% in 42 minutes.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 and 7 Ultimate naming flagships were released in April of this year. They are not only the most autonomous, but also at the same time the most powerful and expensive gaming phones on the market. The price of the Ultimate version in Ukraine starts from UAH 64K.
The second place was given to its predecessor the ROG Phone 6 with a battery life of 15.5 hours.
Closes the top three most autonomous smartphones iPhone 14 Pro Max with a battery life of 13 hours and 39 minutes. It is noted that this is the longest time that an Apple device has ever withstood in a battery test.
However, in terms of charging speed, everything is not so rosy, since Apple still adheres to wired charging with a power of 20W. The smartphone takes about an hour and a half to fully charge. But given how long the iPhone 14 Pro Max has been running on a single charge, you won't encounter this frustration too often, the authors wrote.
