Trump Rebukes Medvedev Over Nuclear Threats to Arm Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump has sharply criticized former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev for suggesting that Iran could receive nuclear weapons from unnamed international partners in response to recent American airstrikes.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to Newsweek.
In a post published Monday on Truth Social, Trump condemned the remarks as dangerously irresponsible, accusing Medvedev of trivializing the threat of nuclear war.
“Did I hear Former President Medvedev, from Russia, casually throwing around the “N word” (Nuclear!), and saying that he and other Countries would supply Nuclear Warheads to Iran? Did he really say that or, is it just a figment of my imagination?
If he did say that, and, if confirmed, please let me know, IMMEDIATELY. The “N word” should not be treated so casually. I guess that’s why Putin's "THE BOSS,” Trump wrote.
Medvedev, now deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, made the inflammatory remarks on June 22, following overnight U.S. strikes on multiple Iranian military facilities.
He claimed that “a number of countries” were prepared to arm Iran with nuclear weapons in response.
Medvedev also asserted that Iran would continue pursuing its nuclear program independently, regardless of Western pressure.
He also said the U.S. strikes had failed to significantly damage Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
“What exactly have the Americans accomplished with their strikes on three targets in Iran? The critical infrastructure of the nuclear cycle appears to have been unaffected or only minimally damaged,” Medvedev stated.
He further accused Trump of hypocrisy, claiming that the president, who once promised to bring peace, had now led the United States into another war.
In his response, Trump highlighted the capabilities of the U.S. nuclear submarine fleet, calling it the most advanced and lethal in the world.
“Our submarines are the most powerful, most deadly, and most advanced weapons ever built, far ahead of any other nation’s capabilities by at least 20 years,” Trump declared. “Just recently, 30 Tomahawk missiles were launched — all 30 hit their targets with millimeter precision.”
As The Gaze reported earlier, Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed strong support for the recent U.S. military strikes against Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, condemning Iran’s actions and drawing attention to its support for Russia’s war against Ukraine.
