Strikes on Russia’s fuel complex have created problems with logistics and the supply of its army. This directly affects the enemy’s ability to conduct active operations.

The Gaze reports this, referring to a statement made by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, as quoted by RBC-Ukraine.

“DeepStrike is our strong side, an effective program that has already proven its effectiveness. These are units of the Unmanned Systems Forces that carry out long-range fire strikes,” he said.

The system makes it possible to hit important targets at a long distance and is constantly being improved.

According to Syrskyi, the units carrying out long-range fire strikes have already achieved noticeable results against the enemy.

“In less than two months, 85 important facilities on enemy territory have been struck. Of these, 33 are military targets: bases, depots, arsenals, airfields, aircraft on parking stands. Another 52 are objects of the military-industrial complex: enterprises producing weapons, ammunition, warheads, engines, rocket fuel, drones – everything that is used against us daily,” the Commander-in-Chief said.

Syrskyi emphasized that among the targets hit, there was a particularly significant impact on enterprises producing fuel and components for missile technology.

“The results are well known to you. This is a fuel crisis in Russia, which directly affects the logistics and supply of its army. The capabilities of the enemy’s military-industrial complex have been significantly reduced – and we see this on the battlefield,” Syrskyi noted.

Strikes on the fuel complex have complicated the enemy’s operational activities and undermined its capabilities at the front.

In the summer of 2025, Ukraine resumed strikes on Russian refineries and oil pipelines. This happened after Russia in June violated the undeclared moratorium on mutual strikes on energy facilities.

Ukraine has already knocked out about 20% of Russia’s refining capacity, which has led to a fuel crisis in a number of regions of the aggressor country.

As The Gaze reported earlier, after a series of targeted attacks by Ukrainian drones, the gasoline shortage in Russia, which was initially observed only in some remote regions, began to spread rapidly, covering more and more areas and significantly complicating fuel supplies.
