Ukraine Executes Over 200 Deep Strikes on Russian Territory, Says SSU Chief

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) is one of the leading units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in conducting deep strikes, which have already hit more than 200 targets deep inside Russian territory.

The Gaze reports on it, referring to Ukrinform, citing the interview of Lieutenant General Vasyl Malyuk, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, on the TV channel “We - Ukraine”.

Vasyl Malyuk noted that the SSU is focused on supporting the front lines and protecting the soldiers there. Strikes are being carried out against the military-industrial complex, logistics, command posts, and oil infrastructure that finances their military department.

“The SSU's Special Operations Center ‘A’ has been very successful in this area. It is essentially the flagship of this type of air operations not only within the Service, but also in Ukraine as a whole. This work is ongoing,” Malyuk said.

The head of the SSU cited an example of one of the most successful strikes against the enemy's rear, which had a significant impact on the situation at the front. This refers to the operation in Toropets, where an ammunition depot was destroyed, which constituted a significant part of the enemy's reserves.

“There were 160,000 tons of enemy ammunition there, half of all the reserves of the 120th mine. It was a huge success,” Malyuk said.

He added that the operation was carried out with the help of 120 SSU drones, and another 20 drones were launched together with other units of the Defense Forces. “In general, here, as in many other issues, the main thing is our unity. And when the SSU, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Special Operations Forces, the Foreign Intelligence Service, and the border guards join forces, we carry out unique operations,” Malyuk emphasized.

This example illustrates how the coordinated work of various law enforcement agencies allows us to inflict significant losses on the enemy and strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities.

The head of the SSU also noted that the special service units are actively participating in combat operations across the entire front line.

According to him, the SSU uses modern combat methods, in particular unique drone assault operations, one of the first examples of which was the special operation in Kursk.
