Ukraine has launched a major new initiative to strengthen national cohesion at home and abroad: the National Identity Platform, a dynamic digital space created by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in partnership with the Association of Innovative and Digital Education (AIDE).

The Gaze reports this, referring to a post by Ukraine's Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Designed as a central hub for identity-building, education and coordination, the Platform aims to unite Ukrainians across regions, communities, and continents, ensuring that every Ukrainian can access shared values, cultural knowledge, and a common narrative about the country’s past, present, and future.

The Ministry describes the Platform as a long-awaited tool for consolidating national resilience. At a time when millions of Ukrainians are dispersed across the world, the project creates a single online environment where people can reconnect with Ukrainian heritage, engage with contemporary culture, and strengthen ties with one another.

The Platform already offers key regulatory documents on national and civic identity, the nationwide lesson “Ukraine – that’s you”, viewed over 250,000 times, a multimedia course “National Identity” featuring leading Ukrainian athletes, cultural figures, entrepreneurs, and scholars, a calendar of offline and online events that brings together Ukrainian communities globally.

Available at https://www.identy.org.ua, the Platform is built to grow, update and adapt as new challenges and opportunities arise.

At the launch, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Ulyana Tokareva emphasized that the project is not a static website but a constantly developing ecosystem shaped by society itself.

“This platform is a living organism that will grow together with our country and our people – wherever they are. It helps everyone feel part of a great shared story, understand their role in shaping our present, and take responsibility for Ukraine’s future. We want every Ukrainian to be able to say with pride: ‘I am Ukrainian,’ and feel deeply connected to this identity,” Tokareva noted.

AIDE’s Deputy Head Dmytro Bondarenko highlighted the technological ambition behind the project. The Platform uses modern EdTech solutions and AI-driven tools to keep content accessible, engaging, and relevant for diverse audiences.

As The Gaze reported earlier, A new information and service portal for Ukrainians in Poland, UA4YOU, has officially launched in Warsaw. The initiative aims to unite the country’s Ukrainian community, streamline access to essential services, and strengthen cultural ties with Ukraine.
