Ukraine Sanctions Chinese Suppliers of Components for Russian Shahed Drones

Ukraine has imposed sanctions on Chinese companies whose components were found in the ‘Shahed’ drones after the Russian attack on 4 July.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to the relevant decree of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, published on his website.
According to the document, sanctions have been imposed on "China Ease Silk Road International Trade (Tianjin) Co. Suzhou Ekod Precision Manufacturing Co., Shenzhen Royo Technology Co., Shenzhen Jinduoban Technology Co. and Ningbo BLIN Machinery Co.
‘During the massive shelling of Kyiv on the night of 4 July, Chinese-made components were found in the downed Shahed drones. Today, sanctions have been imposed on these supplier companies,’ Ukrainian presidential adviser Vladislav Vlasyuk told reporters on Tuesday.
According to him, among the companies subject to sanctions are Ningbo BLIN Machinery Co., Ltd, and Suzhou ECOD Precision Manufacturing, which supplied products to Russian companies subject to sanctions in 2024 and 2025.
‘Ukraine is working with partners from the sanctions coalition to further impose restrictions on Chinese manufacturers,’ he added.
Recently, the Security Service of Ukraine discovered Chinese-made components in the drones used by Russia to attack Kyiv on the night of 3 to 4 July.
