Ukraine Secures Over €1.1 Billion Through IT Coalition, Says Ukraine’s Defense Minister

Ukraine’s digital defense capabilities have received a major boost, with over €1.1 billion in assistance secured through the IT Coalition.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to Defense Minister Rustem Umerov’s post on social media.
In a statement posted on Thursday on his official Facebook page, Umerov emphasized the transformative scale of the initiative, which has funneled critical technological aid to Ukraine’s Armed Forces in both financial and material forms since 2024.
“This support, channeled through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), has helped accelerate the modernization of our defense infrastructure,” Umerov wrote.
According to the minister, three major deliveries were made just in the first half of 2025, totaling approximately €12.8 million. These include targeted packages aimed at enhancing battlefield communications, digital command platforms, and software systems vital to troop coordination and mobilization.
The funding is being used to ensure encrypted, stable battlefield communications; scale up the DELTA real-time situational awareness system; advance the Oberih digital personnel registry, and upgrade military service platforms such as Army+ and Reserve+.
Umerov also praised the continued commitment of Ukraine’s allies: “Our international partners believe in our path. Their contributions reflect trust, solidarity, and a shared understanding that innovation is key to defending democracy and securing victory.”
The IT Coalition, established under the Ramstein format, brings together a consortium of partner nations committed to accelerating Ukraine’s digital transformation in defense, cybersecurity, and military logistics.
As The Gaze reported earlier, on April 21, The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine received €2 million worth of equipment from the IT Coalition.
