Ukraine Set to Receive 3,350 Long-Range ERAM Missiles from the U.S.

The US has approved the delivery of 3,350 Extended Range Active Missiles (ERAM) and other weapons to Ukraine, partly financed by European countries.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to The Wall Street Journal.
In July, Trump promised to supply Kyiv with new weapons on condition that European countries pay for them. Earlier, the US temporarily suspended arms supplies, while Trump stressed that he does not plan to send longer-range weapons for strikes on Moscow.
Although the US has not announced additional missile deliveries, Ukraine may receive other types of weapons purchased by European countries. These include air defense systems and guided multiple launch rocket systems with a range of up to 90 miles.
Last week, the administration approved the sale of 3,350 ERAM missiles, which are expected to arrive in Ukraine in about six weeks. The $850 million package, largely financed by Europe, includes other types of weapons and was delayed until the conclusion of Trump's summits with Putin and Zelenskyy.
Nevertheless, the use of ERAMs with a range of 150-280 miles will require separate approval from the Pentagon. The State Department has reportedly not yet commented on the situation.
ERAM cruise missiles are a new development within the joint program to create affordable cruise missiles for the US and Ukrainian Air Forces.
It is claimed that with a stated range of 400 km, ERAM provides the Ukrainian Air Force with the ability to strike targets that are beyond the reach of existing aviation systems.
As The Gaze informed earlier, Ukraine has revealed its new long-range Flamingo cruise missile, capable of striking targets up to 3,000 km away, and confirmed that serial production is set to begin, marking a significant step in its defense capabilities.
