Ukraine Wins Gold and Silver at Bulgaria Beach Volleyball Tournament

The Futures beach volleyball tournament has come to an end in Bulgaria. Two Ukrainian women's pairs faced off in the final match.

In the semifinals, Ukrainians Valentina Davydova and Angelina Khmil defeated their German rivals Sarah Schulz and Joselina Scheckel 2: 1 (20:22, 21:13, 15:9), while their compatriots Daria Romanyuk and Eva Serdyuk defeated the Spanish duo Sofia Isuskis Corulla/Ana Vergara 2:0 (21:17, 21:14).

In the gold medal match, Serdyuk/Romanyuk celebrated a 2:0 (21:12, 21:19) victory. Khmil and Davydova won silver.
