Ukraine Working with America on Diplomatic Solution for Peace – President Zelenskyy

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is working with partner countries from Europe and America on a peaceful solution to end the Russian-Ukrainian war.

He made this announcement on his X account.

According to the President of Ukraine, diplomacy must be meaningful to end the war as soon as possible.

‘We need real peace, and Ukrainians want it most of all because the war is destroying our cities and towns. We are losing our people. We need to stop the war and guarantee security,’ Zelenskyy said.

The President also stressed that he hoped for US support on the path to peace. 

‘We need peace as soon as possible,’ Zelenskyy said.

The statement by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy came after a meeting of European leaders in London on 2 March, which was attended by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as well as the leaders of Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and President of the European Council Antonio Costa.

Among the participants of the meeting of European leaders in London, there was broad support for the ‘peace through strength’ strategy, which includes increased support for Ukraine and additional pressure on Russia.
