Ukraine’s Kill Web: A Networked Revolution in Modern Warfare

The Ukrainian army is developing a Kill Web system, which allows the battlefield to be viewed as a single network.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to Militarnyi, citing the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.
"Thanks to drones, a so-called Kill Zone has been created — a zone of death where the enemy cannot move without significant losses. But we need even more systematicity. That is why we are building Kill Web. This means seeing more, making decisions faster, and striking more accurately," Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.
According to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense, Kill Web is a way of thinking where innovation is viewed as a web of interconnected decisions.
The system combines sensors, weapons, and control systems, providing integrated enemy detection and real-time decision-making. Kill Web also creates a robust early warning system for missile threats.
Moreover, it allows all radars and analytical data to be systematized, forming a unified infrastructure for targeted actions.
The Minister of Defense emphasized that at each stage of the system's implementation, new projects, technologies, and weapons appear, and the advantage goes to those who think systematically, act quickly, and remain consistent.
Remarkably, the Kill Web concept already exists in the world. For example, in 2023, South Korea introduced a similar system. The Korean system combines cyber operations, electronic warfare, and other means of defense to prevent North Korea's actions before a missile attack begins.
Kill Web complements the Korean Kill Chain preemptive strike system and the existing air and missile defense system.
In Ukraine, the Kill Web concept is also complemented by the DELTA automated troop control system, which is being implemented at all levels of command in the Armed Forces, increasing the effectiveness of management and combat operations.
