The Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, stated that the country is considering the possibility of sharing data collected from the battlefield with its allies, emphasizing that the accumulated volume of information is one of Kyiv's main “cards” in negotiations with partners for support.

The Gaze reports on it, referring to Reuters.

Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized that the battlefield data collected by Ukraine is invaluable, but its dissemination is being handled with great caution.

He stressed that in the context of the growth of the global defense sector, it is precisely the unique combat data obtained during the largest war of the 21st century that could become an important argument for Kyiv in strengthening its partnership with the US and other allies.

Fedorov pointed out that the unique combat data Ukraine has collected, including drone footage, is a kind of “card” for strengthening cooperation with partners, responding to Trump's accusations about their absence.

“The demand for the data is incredibly high, but at the moment we are forming policy on how to organize this process correctly,” he said.

In the interview, the Minister also stressed that Ukraine widely uses artificial intelligence technologies developed by the American company Palantir. According to him, their use covers a wide range of tasks.

At the military level, Palantir helps analyze Russian strikes on Ukraine, identifying patterns and tracking Moscow's information and disinformation campaigns. This allows for a faster response to threats and more effective planning of defensive actions.

However, its application is not limited to the military sphere. Fedorov emphasized that Palantir is also used for civilian purposes. In particular, its tools help make decisions about the construction of bomb-proof underground schools and identify areas that need to be prioritized for demining.

It is said that work is underway to create fully autonomous drones that can fly without an operator and operate in swarms.

According to the minister's estimates, currently 80% to 90% of Russian targets on the battlefield are destroyed by drones. This shows significant progress compared to 2024, when drones hit about 70% of military facilities and 75% of vehicles.

As The Gaze previously informed, Ukraine has successfully tested Starlink’s Direct to Cell technology, enabling smartphones to connect directly to satellites without additional equipment among the first in Europe.
