Ukraine's Youth Hockey Team Wins Tournament in Slovakia

Ukraine's U17 youth hockey team has won the Ladislav Trojak tournament in the Slovak city of Košice, Ukrinform reports.

In their third match, the Ukrainians defeated the Hungarian team 5-3 (1: 0, 1: 0, 3: 3).

The Ukrainians also won the shootout, with Sviatoslav Vasyak scoring the only goal.

In the first game of the Ladislav Trojak Tournament, the Ukrainian team defeated the hosts from Košice 2-1 (0:0, 1:1, 1:0), and then defeated Slovan Bratislava 8-1 (3:0, 3:0, 2:1).

In addition, starting from 8 February, the Ukrainian U17 national team will take part in the European Winter Youth Olympic Festival in the Georgian city of Bakuriani.
