Ukrainian Band Ziferblat Raises ₴2 Million to Purchase Robotic Demining Vehicles

Ukrainian music group Ziferblat, who represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2025, announced at their final press conference on May 26 that they have successfully raised two million hryvnias to fund the purchase of two “ZMIY” robotic machines intended for humanitarian demining efforts.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to Suspilne.
The fundraising campaign was launched several weeks before the Eurovision Song Contest began in Basel, in partnership with the charity organization “Serhiy Prytula Humanitarian Foundation” and supported by Suspilne Broadcasting’s information network.
“We are aiming to complete the fundraiser soon. Our plan is to acquire two “ZMIY” robots immediately and send them to the training grounds. We also intend to personally oversee the delivery and deployment, and will provide a full report on the process,” the musicians shared.
During the press event, Ziferblat also treated attendees to an acoustic performance of their contest entry "Bird of Pray" alongside another song, "Why Did You Come?". The band revealed ongoing discussions about potential collaborations with artists from Lithuania’s Katarsis and Portugal’s NAPA, underscoring their ambitions to expand their presence across Europe.
“It’s been a week since we returned home, but we are still reflecting on the experience. Shortly after returning, we held a major concert in Kyiv. Eurovision marked an extraordinary milestone in our creative journey, but it is certainly not the culmination. We see this as an opportunity for further artistic growth and for Ukrainian music to reach audiences worldwide, and we are determined to seize it,” Ziferblat emphasized.
As The Gaze reported earlier, the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 grand final took place on May 17 in Basel, where Austria’s JJ won with the song Wasted Love, scoring 436 points. Ukraine secured 9th place overall.
