Ukrainian Defense Company Skyeton to Manufacture Raybird Drones in the UK

Ukrainian UAV developer Skyeton has entered a landmark partnership with British defense and security firm Prevail Partners to establish a joint enterprise – Skyeton Prevail Solutions, aimed at producing Raybird drone systems in the United Kingdom.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to The Defender, citing Skyeton’s announcement.
The new venture will not only manufacture the combat-tested Raybird drones but also integrate them into the procurement systems of the UK Ministry of Defence and NATO allies.
The Raybird unmanned aerial vehicle, developed in Ukraine, has already carried out thousands of sorties with an exceptionally low attrition rate and a strong record of performance on the battlefield.
The partnership seeks to accelerate delivery timelines and reduce procurement costs while embedding advanced defense innovations into Western military ecosystems.
The initiative is viewed as a direct outcome of recent agreements between UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to deepen bilateral cooperation on drone and defense technologies.
Sir Iain Duncan Smith, a member of the UK Parliament, recently visited Skyeton’s facilities in Ukraine and praised the team’s engineering excellence and battle-hardened manufacturing capabilities. He described the firm as “one of the world’s leading producers of dual-use unmanned aircraft.”
Prevail Partners chairman Justin Hedges echoed the sentiment, stating that the Raybird far surpasses other Class I UAVs in terms of capabilities. “This is why we’ve decided to partner with Skyeton to produce the Raybird in Britain and support its deployment in NATO and UK missions,” Hedges said.
Skyeton’s international CEO Pavlo Shevchuk highlighted the platform’s effectiveness in Ukraine’s most demanding combat conditions and emphasized that the partnership would help meet growing global demand by leveraging Prevail’s expertise in systems integration and defense platform deployment.
As The Gaze reported earlier, on June 5, Skyeton has also demonstrated its production of Raybird drones in the European Union.
