Ukrainian Figure Skaters Win Silver at Grand Prix in Poland

Ukrainian figure skaters Sofia Golichenko and Artem Darensky won silver medals at the fifth stage of the Junior Grand Prix series in Gdansk, Poland.

This was reported on social media by the Ukrainian Ministry of Youth and Sports.

After performing the short programme, Sofia and Artem took second place (51.81 points), in the free skate programme they showed the fifth result (84.77 points), but eventually retained the second position.

Based on the sum of the two performances, the skaters from Dnipro received 136.58 points from the judges.

The winners of the tournament in pairs skating were the Chinese Zhang Jiaxuan and Huang Yihang (161.96). Julia Quattrocchi and Simon Desmarias from Canada won bronze medals (134.88).
