US Resumes Military Aid to Ukraine

Following the talks in Saudi Arabia on 11 March, the United States will cancel the pause in intelligence sharing with Ukraine and resume military assistance.
This is said in a joint statement by Ukraine and the United States, which is posted on the Ukrainian President's Office website.
‘The United States is immediately cancelling the pause in intelligence sharing and resuming security assistance to Ukraine,’ the statement reads.
In addition, it is emphasised that the Ukrainian delegation ‘expressed deep gratitude on behalf of the Ukrainian people to President Trump, the US Congress and the people of the United States for making meaningful progress towards peace possible’.
The resumption of supplies was confirmed by Polish Deputy Defence Minister Pawel Zalewski. He said that US military aid to Ukraine had resumed through the hub in Poland. ‘The transport of American weapons to Ukraine from the hub in Poland in Jasionka has resumed,’ he said in a post on Platform X.
For her part, Director of US National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard confirmed that the pause in intelligence sharing with Ukraine had indeed ended. ‘Thanks to the leadership of US President Donald Trump, we are one significant step closer to ending the bloody war in Ukraine. At the President's direction, the pause in intelligence sharing with Ukraine has ended,’ she wrote on X.
As The Gaze reported, in early March, US President Donald Trump ordered the suspension of all US military aid to Ukraine to force Kyiv to demonstrate a ‘good faith commitment’ to peace.
On 11 March, representatives of Ukraine and the United States held talks in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, that lasted about eight hours. This is the first official meeting between Ukrainian and American officials since the dispute between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump at the White House on 28 February.
