Zelenskyy: SSU’s Elite Forces Inflict Heavy Losses on Russian Troops

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on the results of the work of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), noting significant successes in combat operations and the elimination of Russian troops and agent networks.

The Gaze reports this, referring to a statement made by Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.

During the report, SSU Chairman Vasyl Malyuk informed the President about the effectiveness of Ukrainian long-range missile drones, which have demonstrated increasing effectiveness in destroying Russian air defense systems.

“It is important that Ukrainian long-range missile drones are demonstrating greater effectiveness,” the President said.

Zelenskyy emphasized that these strikes significantly weaken Russia's military potential.

“We note that Russian troops have been ordered to storm our positions at any cost. Therefore, Russian losses have increased significantly,” he added.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy paid special attention to the SSU's Special Operations Unit “A,” which is actively operating in the Pokrovsk direction. According to him, this unit alone destroys more than 100 Russian occupiers every day, and over the past month, the elimination of 3,028 enemies has been confirmed.

“The SSU continues to work to destroy Russian intelligence networks,” he said, adding that he had approved operations aimed at reducing Russian military potential.

As The Gaze informed earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that in September, Ukrainian unmanned aerial systems (UAS) struck 66,5 thousand enemy targets, underscoring their important role in the war against Russia.
