Ukrainian Troops in Denmark Demonstrate Drone Defense Skills in Joint Drill

Ukrainian military specialists currently stationed in Denmark have demonstrated advanced drone interception tactics during a live training exercise aimed at enhancing air defense cooperation with NATO partners.
The Gaze reports this, referring to a post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The exercise was part of an ongoing exchange program where Ukrainian forces share battlefield-tested expertise in countering aerial threats.
During the drill, Ukrainian operators launched a Sting drone that successfully shot down a Danish Banshee target drone.
“Our drone defense specialists effectively neutralized several aerial targets in Denmark’s airspace, proving the reliability of Ukrainian technologies and tactics,” the General Staff reported on social media.
Representatives from multiple European countries attended the demonstration, observing Ukraine’s cutting-edge approaches to neutralizing unmanned aerial threats. These methods were thoroughly refined through extensive experience resisting Russian attacks.
“The interception was recorded on video, and after the demonstration, Ukrainian UAV pilots received dozens of questions from their foreign colleagues. Ukraine continues to train Europeans to counter new challenges. Together, we are strengthening Europe’s defense capability,” the General Staff added.
The initiative builds on President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s late-September announcement that Ukrainian military teams had deployed to Denmark to assist in joint training on drone warfare and air defense.
The deployment followed a series of reports about unidentified UAVs detected near Denmark’s key military and energy facilities.
As The Gaze previously informed, Danish military intelligence has accused Russia of conducting a series of deliberate naval provocations in the narrow waterways connecting the Baltic Sea to the North Sea.
