British, French, German, and Italian Officials Arrive in Kyiv for Security Talks

Key European partners of Ukraine, British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, and representatives of the French, German, and Italian governments have arrived in Kyiv to discuss strengthening security in Europe.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to a statement made by the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, on Telegram.
According to him, the presence of these states right now is a powerful signal of joint work on strengthening security in Europe. He stressed that these countries are at the forefront of the Coalition of the Willing, which is forming a new security system in Europe.
“The events of recent months have proven that the leadership of our partners is growing, decisions are being made faster, and security guarantees for Ukraine are taking on clear and practical contours. Our unity is growing stronger every day,” Yermak stressed.
He also thanked Ukraine's friends for their support, noting that their presence in Kyiv symbolizes solidarity not only with Ukraine but also with ensuring justice and security for all of Europe.
“Freedom has no borders. The future of a strong and secure Europe is being created here and now,” he concluded.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha also announced the arrival in Kyiv of the new British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper. Negotiations on the development of cooperation between the countries are reportedly planned with her.
"We will discuss the whole range of bilateral and international issues on our agenda, including peace efforts, transatlantic pressure on Russia, and scaling up defense cooperation between Ukraine and the UK," Sybiha said.
As The Gaze informed earlier, on the eve of Cooper's visit to Kyiv, the British government announced that the UK would allocate GBP 142 million ($193 million) in aid to support Ukraine during the winter and next year.
