China Expresses Dissatisfaction with Ukrainian Sanctions

China opposes the sanctions imposed by Kyiv on its citizens and companies and calls on the Ukrainian side to ‘correct its misguided policy,’ threatening to take retaliatory measures, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said at a briefing, commenting on Kyiv's decision to impose restrictions on a number of Chinese companies for activities against Ukraine.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to Ukrinform.
‘China has always opposed unilateral sanctions that are not approved by the UN Security Council and calls on Ukraine to correct its misguided policy to avoid negative consequences,’ Guo said.
‘The Chinese government will continue to resolutely defend the legitimate rights and interests of its companies,’ the diplomat added.
As The Gaze reported earlier, Ukraine has imposed sanctions on Chinese companies whose components were found in the “Shahed” drones after the Russian attack on 4 July.
