Czechia Opens Diplomatic Mission in Eastern Ukraine

The head of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jan Lipavský, opened the country's diplomatic mission in the city of Dnipro, in eastern Ukraine.
The Gaze writes about it, referring to his post on social media.
On Wednesday, 13 August, Lipavský officially opened the Czech diplomatic mission in Dnipro, which will report to the country's embassy in Kyiv.
‘The Czech Republic is not afraid of Putin. We are the first country to have a diplomatic mission in eastern Ukraine,’ said the country's foreign minister.
During his visit to Ukraine, Lipavsky said that his country is against the division of Ukraine and Moldova on the path to the European Union.
He also noted that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin will have a ‘unique’ opportunity to agree to a truce in the Russian-Ukrainian war during talks with US President Donald Trump in Alaska.
As The Gaze reported earlier, Ukraine is set to receive around 1.8 million artillery rounds by the end of 2025 through the Czech Republic's international ammunition procurement initiative.
