Days of Ukrainian Cinema to Take Place in Norway
From 17 to 28 January, the Norwegian capital Oslo will host the Days of Ukrainian Cinema, dedicated to the memory of the soldier and film editor Viktor Onysko, as well as all the artists who died as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war. This was reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in Norway on Facebook.
The programme includes screenings of the films Atlantis (2019), Felix and Me: Rock Paper Grenade (2024), Slovo House. Unfinished Novel (2021), Zhovten Cinema in Kyiv (2024), Man with a Movie Camera (1929), The Asthenic Syndrome (1989), and the event will open with the premiere of the Ukrainian-Norwegian documentary Fragments of Ice (2024) directed by Maria Stoianova.
Visitors of the event will be able to buy books in Ukrainian, Norwegian and English, the proceeds from which will be donated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Venue: Cinemateket cinema, Dronningens gt. 16.
