Duchess of Wales Kate Unveils New Photo of Prince Louis on His Sixth Birthday
On the Instagram page of the Duke and Duchess of Wales, a new photograph of their youngest son, Prince Louis, has emerged. The picture was posted today, April 23, to celebrate the prince's birthday, reports BBC.
It is reported that the photo was taken personally by Kate Middleton. In the image, a smiling Prince Louis in a chequered shirt lies on the grass and looks at the camera. Kensington Palace stated that the photograph was taken "in the last few days."
"A heartfelt thank you from the Duke and Duchess of Wales for all the birthday wishes for their son," a palace representative said.
Following controversies over the editing of royal family photographs for Mother's Day, representatives of the Duke and Duchess of Wales stated that this particular photo of Prince Louis remained unaltered.
Prince Louis was born on April 23, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital in London. His father, Prince William, was by his wife's side during the delivery. Kate Middleton and the newborn were discharged from the hospital on the same day. Prince Louis has an older brother, Prince George, born in 2013, and a sister, Princess Charlotte, born in 2015.
The Gaze reported that Russia, China, and Iran are actively spreading disinformation about the Duchess of Wales following her cancer diagnosis, aiming to intimidate and destabilize British society.
High-ranking officials, who wished to remain anonymous, told journalists that they are concerned about hostile states' attempts to spread unconfirmed conspiracy theories and rumours about Kate Middleton's health, as she announced her cancer diagnosis on March 22 and began chemotherapy. Internet trolls are actively attacking the princess for not disclosing her medical diagnosis. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak expressed outrage at this behaviour and urged her to stop.
A government-established working group, tasked with protecting the United Kingdom's democratic integrity from foreign interference, is currently considering various methods to combat the spread of disinformation and conspiracy theories online.
It's worth noting that Kate Middleton announced her diagnosis just over a month ago on March 22. She shared details about her health in a special video message.
