King Charles III's Wife Queen Camilla Adopts Eight-Week-Old Rescue Puppy Named Mole

The wife of King Charles III, Queen Camilla, said that she had found a new furry friend - an eight-week-old rescue puppy named Mole. So now the palace has a new pet. Camilla adopted the rescue puppy after her Jack Russell Terrier, Beth, died at the age of 13 in November.
The 77-year-old Queen visited the Beaney House of Art and Knowledge in Canterbury on 25 February, where she revealed for the first time that she was welcoming a new dog to the royal family. During a meeting with guide dogs, Queen Camilla told the group: ‘I've just got a new puppy,’ according to a video posted on X by royal reporter Rebecca English.
Sharing more details about the new addition, the royal said the puppy was 8 weeks old and was a rescue whose breed was ‘a little bit of everything’. Like Queen Camilla's previous dogs Beth and Bell, Mole is a rescue from the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, which is patronised by the royal family.
Queen Camilla also revealed the puppy's name and inspiration: ‘Her name is Molly. She looks just like a mole!’
Buckingham Palace confirmed that Molly was born on Boxing Day, 26 December, and that her mother is half Jack Russell Terrier and her father's breed is unknown.
