Europe Plans Joint Visit of Macron, Starmer, Zelenskyy to US

Europe is considering a visit by French President Emmanuel Macron to the United States together with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French government spokeswoman Sophie Prima said after a meeting of the Council of Ministers, Le Figaro reports.
The spokeswoman did not specify the date of the trip, saying only that it should take place ‘in the near future.’ Meanwhile, Emmanuel Macron will address the French on Wednesday evening ahead of a summit in Brussels scheduled for Thursday on European defence.
Earlier, she said that France is making efforts to restore communication between the United States and Ukraine to help achieve a ‘lasting and durable peace’.
According to CBS News, the US side plans to amend the terms of the so-called ‘fossil fuel deal’ with Ukraine, as US President Donald Trump is now seeking a ‘better’ deal.
As The Gaze reported, on Tuesday, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on social media platform X that Ukraine is ready to negotiate peace and sign a minerals deal with the US.
