Exhibition of Ukrainian Military Artefacts From De-Occupied Territories ‘Power of Unconquered’ Starts in Czech Capital
An exhibition of military artefacts ‘The Power of the Unconquered’ is taking place in Prague until 5 October, where visitors can see unique exhibits brought from the frontline in Ukraine, including the de-occupied territories.
This was reported on Facebook by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic.
Ambassador Vasyl Zvarych and his wife, along with Deputy Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Jan Marian, Secretary of the Office of the Czech Government Commissioner for Ukraine's Reconstruction Vaclav Kallus, Prague City Councillor Michal Hroza, Deputy City Manager of Prague 4, and representatives of Czech organisations that help Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression, attended the official opening of the exhibition, which was organised by the Prague Maidan organisation.
The Ambassador made an opening speech in which he thanked the organisers for an important event that demonstrates the truth of what the Russians are actually doing in Ukraine and expressed gratitude to his Czech friends for their unwavering support of Ukraine in countering Russian aggression.
‘In memory of our heroes, I urge us all to stay together, to walk confidently on the path of victory, to advocate for the cancellation of any restrictions on the use of weapons against military targets in Russia. We must reduce Russia's potential to wage war against us all. I am very glad that our Czech friends understand and support us in this. Together we are definitely stronger and we will win,’ he said.
A free donation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine is collected as an entrance fee to the exhibition.
The exhibition is open to visitors from 10:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays.
