Four Top Allies Allow Ukraine to Strike Deep into Russia with Their Weapons

The United States, Germany, France and the United Kingdom have lifted restrictions on Ukraine's range of strikes on Russian territory, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on German public television WDR Europaforum.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to European Pravda.
On Monday, 26 May, Merz said that there are no longer "any restrictions" on long-range strikes with weapons supplied to Ukraine by the British, French, Germans and Americans.
"This means that Ukraine can now defend itself, including strikes on military targets in Russia. Until recently, it could not do this, and until recently, with very few exceptions, it did not do so. Now it can. It can hit military targets in the rear, and this is a decisive qualitative change in Ukraine's warfare," the German Chancellor stressed.
He drew attention to the fact that Russia "ruthlessly attacks civilian targets - bombing cities, kindergartens, hospitals and nursing homes".
"Ukraine does not do this, and we attach great importance to keeping it that way," he added.
Prior to coming to power, Merz criticised his predecessor Olaf Scholz for refusing to supply Ukraine with long-range Taurus missiles.
As The Gaze reported earlier, Germany is prepared to send Taurus missiles to Ukraine, according to Friedrich Merz.
