Germany Has Released a List Of New Military Aid For Ukraine

The German government has sent a new package of military aid to Ukraine, including vehicles, drone detection systems, and artillery ammunition.
This information was disclosed on the official website of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Thus, the new defense package includes: 4 HX81 trucks and 4 semi-trailers for them; 8 Zetros trucks; 3 transport vehicles; 2 border service vehicles; 1 mobile antenna system; 15 precision rifles HLR 338 with 60,000 rounds for them; 25 laser range finders; 5 drone detection sensors; 3,840 artillery shells of 155 mm caliber; and 250 sets of tools with explosive materials.
Also, on the eve, the commander of the multinational training command, Lieutenant General Andreas Marlow, announced that the training of the second group of Ukrainian military personnel, who were acquiring skills in operating the American Patriot SAM system, has been completed in Germany.
According to the German lieutenant general, the preparatory course lasted over six weeks, allowing Ukrainian personnel to undergo comprehensive training to independently operate the anti-aircraft missile system and perform assigned air defense missions to protect against Russian attacks.
It is noted that experienced Ukrainian military personnel, who already have combat experience in air defense forces, participated in the training program. Most of the military had previously worked on the Soviet air defense system S-300.
Recall that last month, the German Ambassador to Ukraine, Martin Jaeger, announced the deployment of an additional Patriot air defense system in Ukraine.
"The situation this winter could become very challenging. The Ukrainian side has done everything possible to prepare for this situation, and we have assisted with the preparation," emphasized Jaeger.
Earlier, on November 21, 2023, the German Minister of Defense, Boris Pistorius, during his working visit to Kyiv, announced the provision of a new military aid package to Ukraine worth 1.3 billion euros.
The military aid package for Ukraine includes an additional four IRIS-T SLM air defense systems, 20,000 rounds of 155 mm caliber ammunition, and anti-tank mines.
