Germany, Poland and Norway will Jointly Provide $500 million for Ukraine
$200 million will be provided by Berlin.
The Gaze reports on it according to Ukrinform.
This was stated by German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul before the start of the NATO Foreign Ministers' Council meeting in Brussels, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
‘The federal government is very proud that, together with our friends in Poland and Norway, we can put together another large package that is necessary to support Ukraine. 500 million US dollars is a significant amount, 200 million of which is being provided by Germany,’ he said.
According to Vadufel, this joint support package for Ukraine also demonstrates that ‘we are jointly determined to actively oppose Russian aggression.’
The German minister welcomed all efforts to end Russia's war against Ukraine, but stressed Russia's unwillingness to engage in serious peace talks.
