NATO Will Purchase Weapons for Ukraine for $1 billion Under PURL Programme

This was announced by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga during a conversation with journalists in Brussels, according to Ukrinform.
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy noted that, compared to previous meetings of the Ukraine-NATO Council in which he participated, today's meeting was the most productive in terms of contributions and decisions by participating countries for the defence of Ukraine.
‘We... calculated that this is about a billion dollars in additional confirmations from our allies to support our army through the PURL programme... During the meeting, five countries additionally announced this,’ Sybiha said.
He added that it was really important for him to feel unity and determination in supporting Ukraine right now.
