Designer Ksenia Schneider's clothing brand LOST MOSAICS has developed a collection inspired by Ukrainian monumental mosaics. This was announced on 26 September on the brand's social media.

‘In a world where art reflects the essence of our time, KSENIASCHNAIDER's SS25 collection is a poignant reflection of the current moment - when many Ukrainians and others around the world are putting together fragments of their lives amidst deep challenges, like a mosaic,’ the statement said.

The clothes are inspired by the monumental mosaics of Stepan and Roman Kyrychenko, as well as the works of Lyudmyla Yastreb and lesser-known artists from Myrhorod and Siverskodonetsk.

‘Ksenia's unwavering optimism is perfectly manifested in her light as a feather dresses, tops and skirts, hand-draped with tulle, reflecting intricate motifs of blooming flowers and picturesque landscapes.’

KSENIASCHNAIDER is a Kyiv-based brand founded by Ksenia and Anton Schneider in 2011.

The brand has made a significant impact on the fashion industry by creating new silhouettes such as asymmetrical jeans, demi-denims, etc. It is also known for upcycling denim items. KSENIASCHNAIDER received the Best Denim Style award from PETA Deutschland in 2021.

It is the first Ukrainian brand to create a collection with Adidas. At London Fashion Week, the brand presented its SS'24 collection, which was partly a continuation of its collaboration with Adidas Originals from 2002.

For the first time since the beginning of Russia's full-scale military invasion in 2022, the new 55th season of Ukrainian Fashion Week was held in Kyiv at Mystetskyy Arsenal from 1 to 4 September. The shows focused on the war, with veterans on the catwalk. UFW resumed its work in the capital of Ukraine after four International Seasons, which took place on the catwalks of international partners in London, Copenhagen, Los Angeles, Lisbon, Berlin and other cities as part of the Support Ukrainian Fashion Initiative.
