Moldova Strongly Condemns Another Violation of Its Airspace by Russian Drones: Security Threat and Disregard for Sovereignty

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova has ‘strongly condemned’ another violation of the country's airspace by Russian drones, as reported on social media platform X.  

‘We strongly condemn the illegal violation of Moldovan airspace by drones caused by Russian aggression against Ukraine. This is a serious security threat and a violation of our sovereignty,’ the ministry said.  

The Foreign Ministry also noted that the country will continue to invest in strengthening the protection of its airspace to ‘protect people from threats’.  

On Sunday, late in the evening, the Moldovan Armed Forces recorded another violation of the country's airspace near the border with Ukraine by two Russian drones.
